10-25-05 Xtracurricular was a lot of pressure and not a lot of time to do everything we wanted to do. Still, we accomplished a lot. Evidence of that seasoning can be seen in a more recent short film directed by Tim, a thriller titled Re-Elect Joe, now available for viewing online. Keep in mind this was for a 48 Hour Film project, meaning he and his crew had only forty-eight hours to write, rehearse, shoot and edit the whole kitty. They didn't even know what genre they would need to work in until handed their assignment: dirty cop. Check it out! 10-09-05 ![]() Congratulations to Katy Dunlap, our Sarah. It's not the first time one of the lovely ladies of Xtracurricular has graced the pages of Austin Monthly Magazine, but the cover is something special. Also, we finally added MP3 tracks from the Xtracurricular Original Score, composed and performed by the very talented Jason Grace. Just click Media in the menu over on the left. Scroll down. Listen, download, burn, enjoy. If you like film music you should love these. He did an amazing job for us. 6-25-05 Feedback has been encouraging from the folks that have seen the film so far. Before he runs off to throw down some FX know-how on a vampire film in Texas you can catch Tim at the upcoming Comic-Con International convention in San Diego, CA. ![]() Tim will participate a second year in the Comic-Con Film School program with pals from 3rd Floor Productions. Tim's collaborated with these guys for years and both he and Sean appear in their upcoming feature 1st Person Shooter. Tim and the 3rd Floor crew will be answering questions and passing on their knowledge of truly independent filmmaking, the process from beginning to end. 5-19-05 Check it out, stills from the film are finally online. Just refresh your browser and click on pics over there on your left. This is the first of a few photo albums we'll be putting online. Next up, behind-the-scenes snaps! 5-17-05 Okay, really, for real, we're making some updates around here. The old, AFM trailer has now been replaced with our most up to date remix and we just need to compress down the voiceover version. It will be up soon. We also brought back the cinematography reel. Head on over to the Media button on that little menu at the left and check them out! We'll finally, soon, be adding a collection of high quality stills from the film as well as some behind-the-scenes pictures. Update: For some reason one of the trailers is giving us issues playing on Windows with certain versions of Quicktime. We'll keep working on it, in the meantime enjoy the other new trailer. 5-11-05 Woo-hoo, looks like we cracked one of the toughest markets out there! Check out that new cover art to boot! 4-28-05 We just found out we're available for rental on Blockbuster in addition to NetFlix! 4-26-05 Today is the day! We are officially released in North America on DVD. So, come on USA and Canada, buy our movie and you'll be helping our mom! We'll make it easy for you, here's a quick list of online DVD retailers carrying our film! We'll be creating a list of brick-n-mortar retailers as we're made aware of them. Keep your eyes open! 3-28-05 Whoops! It turns out the North American release of Xtracurricular will be at the end of April instead of March, our bad. Hopefully sales in Thailand are brisk and we're happy to see they're also using alternate sales channels. I'm sure the first time we walk into a video store and see it sitting there on the shelf we'll cause a nice little scene. I mean, who wouldn't be excited to know their creation is potentially being seen all over the world and available at the click of a mouse? And here. 3-01-05 Every once in a while we'll google up Xtracurricular to see what the top links are and if anything new shows up. This week google reveals that we're on sale in Thailand with free worldwide shipping. Neat. The North American DVD release is this month! 2-08-05 Very cool! We just found out Xtracurricular will be screened this month at Fantasporto 2005, an important European film festival and the biggest in Portugal. They've even invited us to come play with them. 1-11-05 More dust to follow. A little nip-n-tuck maybe. We'll be adding more content and tweaking what we've got. Hopefully we'll have a US home video street date soon as well. The good folks at Razor Digital are working on the DVD wrap and we're trying to get through the sometimes mysterious deliverables phase of post post production. 11-11-04 Sorry about the lack of updates for so long, folks. The good news is Xtracurricular has sold in several markets around the globe with more deals pending! Check the Xtracurricular Film Talk forums for more info. 05-13-04 The new screeners are on their way to Cannes! 05-10-04 We'd like to wish Ted Chalmers and the rest of the Creative Light Entertainment sales crew a fantastic and productive trip to the Cannes film market. Check out their ad in the Cannes 2004 Special Issue of the Hollywood Reporter, pg. 70, right before the product listings for the market. Xtracurricular is featured in the upper right hand corner. We'll be grinning for days! 05-01-04 Check it out, our new sales sheet! It's off to the printers and headed for Cannes! Oh, but, don't read the back page if you don't like spoilers! 04-13-04 We're very pleased to announce a new partnership with Creative Light Entertainment to represent licensing and marketing for Xtracurricular at film markets around the globe. Woo-hoo! We're getting our game together for the upcoming Cannes market and will have more info and site tweaks soon! 01-31-04 Welcome to our new server space. We'll be making tweaks to the visuals and content over the next month as we prepare for the American Film Market. The old newsblog is no more and has been replaced by the Xtracurricular Film Talk forum. Check it out! 10-17-03 If you haven't hit your refresh button in a while, do it now. Otherwise you might not see that pretty little "official selection" wreath on the splash page! That's right, we're going to Deep Ellum! Big thanks go out to Michael Cain and Scott Greenberg for taking an interest in our project. 08-09-03 Tim and I created a little online store with a few initial designs for "Xtracurricular" fan gear. We'll be doing more soon. Just bink on the "gear" button over there on your left to check out the schwag. If you buy some we'll be able to afford some ourselves! 08-02-03 And more updates. Take a little wedge out here, give it a little tuck there. More to come. We've got photos galore to go through...stills from the film...behind the scenes...cast & crew. Keep checking back and don't forget to hit your refresh button! 07-26-03 More updates. We've moved the new trailer over to our new media page. While you're there be sure to check out some outtake footage for a peak behind the scenes at some goofy moments with the cast & crew. Enjoy! 07-04-03 Please excuse our dust! We'll be updating and changing the website as we get a chance but we wanted to get the ball rolling as quickly as possible now that we have a new trailer for y'all to enjoy. |
